Book “Made in Vietnam Lean Management: The road to success”
In the recent years, due to the pressure from global competition as well as the consequences from the world economic crisis, the Vietnamese economy has encountered many difficulties; the number of inefficient enterprises is constantly increasing. According to statistics of the General Statistics Office, in 2014 the total number of enterprises dissolved or suspended for a period of time is 67823 enterprises. In addition, this figure reflects the weakness in management capacity, production methods.Furthermore, there are the lacks of stability and sustainability in term of building strategies of most Vietnamese enterprises today.
From the burning desire is to help Vietnamese enterprises find a better management method to improve production capacity, competitiveness in the market, simultaneously develop in sustainable way. Dr. Nguyen Dang Minh has made a great effort to learn and absorb the management thinking of advanced countries around the world and to constantly innovate to find a management model which is suitable for Vietnamese enterprise.
The results and practical lessons learned during the study of lean management thinking were summarized by Dr. Nguyen Dang Minh and edited in the book: “Made in Vietnam Lean Management: THE ROAD TO SUCCESS“. This book consists of five chapters covering from Lean Management background, international lean implementation lesson learned, current lean implementation of Vietnamese enterprises to the Made in Vietnam Lean Management proposed for enterprises.
